Virginia women's business conference — Bethesda, MD — Georgetown Bagelry

The Virginia Women’s Business Conference is THE one day event for visionary women who want to discover the tools for success, make strategic business connections and leave feeling empowered and inspired to take action.

On Friday, November 20 Mary Beall Adler, the award-winning founder and CEO of Georgetown Bagelry, a retail and wholesale bakery outside of Washington, D.C. will be the event’s open Keynote speaker.

Aptly dubbed the “woman who walks the talk” by LatitudeNews.com, Mary represents the best leadership and passion her industry offers. In 2013, she was honored by Enterprising Women magazine as part of its effort to recognize North America’s finest female entrepreneurs. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Maryland and studied law at Antioch Law School for two years. Her inspirational memoir, Who Scooped My Bagel?: One Woman’s Story of Love, Loss and Success chronicles her struggle to overcome a tumultuous marriage and financial difficulty to establish a powerful small business and a nationally recognized brand.
