Meet the GTown Bagel Team
The Georgetown Bagelry has been baking fine artisan bagels for the Washington DC Metropolitan region since 1981 using 400-year old bagel baking traditions with the freshest ingredients. Our team includes 6 members, many who have been with us from the very beginning. Mary Beall Adler (AKA @GTownBagel on Twitter), the owner of the Georgetown Bagelry began learning the art of making fine artisan bagels in 1985 when she became a part of the Georgetown Bagelry family.

We are located in the Kenwood Shopping Center off of River Road in Bethesda, Maryland – here we will serve you the “first and finest” bagels in all of Washington DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia. At our Bethesda Bagelry, we take pride daily in following old Jewish traditions in making and baking each bagel daily.

Georgetown Bagelry Voted Best Bagel in DC
The Georgetown Bagelry takes great pride in receiving reviews from customers. Because of you, the Georgetown Bagelry received the “Best Bagel” award in 2009, 2011 and 2012 from the Washington D.C. City Paper.
Wholesale Bagel Bakery
The Georgetown Bagelry proudly serves several local businesses with wholesale bagels and wholesale pastries for their restaurants and stores. Our bagels are made fresh, daily and come in several varieties including: Oatmeal Raisin, Blueberry, Chocolate Chip, Plain, Onion, Cranberry and Everything. We offer fresh pastries, muffins and cookies that are baked throughout the day at our store in Bethesda, Maryland.
