Rosalina Sosa:  ”Rosi” has worked with us for 25+ years.  Rosa’s love of her life is her 3 children and granddaughter.  She’s our secret, “Jack of All Trades” at the bagel shop and knows how to do everything from mixing, forming, and boarding bagels to sandwich making and taking inventory!  Rosa loves to joke and she’s our “Peace Maker”.  Rosa makes amazing bialies.
Angelo Villatoro: “Angel” has worked with us for 29 years. I have fired him twice and his gorgeous wife has brought him back literally by the ear and made sure he had a job:) Angel has boundless energy and drives the rest of us crazy with his joy for work and life. This is a good problem! Angel works magic on our fresh squeezed orange juice and he’s unparalleled at food preparation. Angel is a bagel baker. He loves to play soccer. He is married and has 3 children.
Oscar Benitez:  ”Oscar” has worked with us 6 years.  He is a young baker and has learned the artisan aspects of baking well.  His position of “night manager” focusses on client/customer service and his strength is his eagerness to learn all areas of our business.  Oscar loves the internet and music.  
  Walter Reyes: “Walter” has 10 years under his belt at the bagel shop. He is an artisan bagel baker. He is married to Nivia and they have 2 young children. Walter’s favorite thing to do at work is rolling bagels by hand! His hands are callused yet he uses his heart.
Nivia Hernandez: “Nivia” has worked with us 6 years.  She makes a mean bagel sandwich and can keep 20 orders straight at the same time.  Nivia likes to help everybody out as she learns our processes.  We hide the sweets from her!  She has a great sense of humor.  
  Jairo Villatoro: “Messi” has worked with us 7 years. Messi is an outstanding baker. He is an artisan bagel baker who brings youthful fascination to work in his back pocket. He loves making bagels! He’s moved forward to the front of the shop where he immediately surprised us with his care of clients/customers. He has a terrific sense of humor and a twinkle in his eye that rarely disappears. Jairo follows international soccer and he’s a big music buff.
Santos Villatoro: “Poilo” has worked with us for 20 years.  He is a professional artisan bagel baker.  He is unsurpassed in quality bagel baking.  His abilities are delivered straight from his heart where he’s not timid about taking risks and being authentic.  It shows in his bagels.  Santos is married with 5 children.  
  Badara Njai: “Badu” has worked with us 16 years. He recently returned from a year in Gambia with his wife and daughter. Badu studied Business Administration in college. He manages the bagel shop. Badu thrives on interacting with clients and understands personalized service. Badu identifies and anticipates issues at the shop and creates practical ways to understand and change things. Badu loves to read and stay home.
Ari Gulseren: “Sara” has worked with us 7 years.  Sara is outstanding with numbers.  She studied banking and loves computers.  Sara manages and focusses on our inventory, buying, daily sales, and POS system.  She’s proven herself  to be excellent not only with numbers but with clients.  Every little kid that comes into the bagel shop runs to her for a hug.  Her hugs create magic.  Sara’s secret is that she likes to dance!  
  Badger Koefoed: “BizzyBadge” grew up in the bagel business and has been “officially” working with us for 2 years. Badger mentioned that he thought his mother knew the rest of the team better than she knew her own son. She told him she probably does because they’ve spent more time together and worked out many problems and life experiences together. Badger’s a student at MC and is interested in business and music. He’s the greatest at holding a steady pace while taking orders. Badger partnered with Bread for the City and delivers our left over bagels to them 3X’s/week.
Lucien Koefoed:  ”Lucito” also grew up in the bagel business.  Lucien is in the U.S. Marine Reserve and is studying business at UMBC.  He steps in when we’re busy and works Saturdays.  Lucien is outstanding under pressure.  He comes in handy on Yom Kippur!  He loves to workout and play basketball and soccer.  
Aaron Kurtz: Aaron has been working with us during the summer and college breaks for several years. He’s a student at Univ. of Miami. Aaron loves bagels and the bagel shop.
