Georgetown Bagelry Makes Mashable’s List of “32 Small Businesses Killing it on Social”
Mashable and Capital One Spark are on the hunt for America’s Most Social Small Business. Earlier in February, Mashable challenged small businesses all over the country to tell them why they deserve the title. After receiving a flood of submissions from businesses across a variety of industries, they vetted the entrants by dissecting their social presences, consumer engagement, short responses and company size and revenue numbers.
We were delighted to learn that Georgetown Bagelry made the cut and was among those, well, as Mashable called it — “32 small businesses that are killing it on social.”

For the first round businesses were seeded, based on a mix of social fans/followers and company size. Georgetown Bagelry was pitted against Austin-based full service dog business, Mud Puppies. Despite what Mashable called “relatable, engaging and quirky posts” we were upset by the adorable Mud Puppies and failed to advanced to the sweet sixteen.
That’s okay, though. We’re so thrilled to have made it to the tournament and look forward to continue to kill it social.
